DIGITAL WORKS

Most of my digital works originate as commissions and fan art. I believe that they do and should have a place withon my greater artistic practice. The skills I have developed since I begun using this medium inform the rest of my work and allow me to be a well-rounded artist.

FEATURED PIECE

2024

This artwork depicts Galehaut (top), Lancelot (center), and Guinevere (bottom), inspired by The Prose Vulgate’s Lancelot. Titled “One cannot love what one does not fear,” the piece explores their emotional dynamic as a linear relationship, with both Guinevere and Galehaut’s love directed toward Lancelot. Guinevere remains proud and composed, while Galehaut bows his head in surrender, emphasizing his sacrifice. Lancelot is torn between the two, returning Guinevere’s love while acknowledging Galehaut’s. Their hearts are exposed, hands reaching toward Lancelot’s, surrounded by Gothic architecture, symbolic sun and cloud motifs, and objects representing power and vulnerability—swords for Guinevere and Galehaut, and flowers for Lancelot. At the bottom, Lancelot’s shield features a pierced heart, symbolizing the tragedy and beauty of courtly love.
